Kumaoni Delicacies

A traditional Kumaoni thali is a diverse, culturally rich platter from Uttarakhand's Kumaon region, featuring regional staples like rice, wheat, and lentils, along with seasonal vegetables, unique dishes such as Bhatt ki Churkani (black soybean curry) and Aloo Gutuk (spiced potatoes), and a nutty Bhaang ki Chutney. The thali reflects the area's geography and heritage, using locally sourced ingredients and traditional cooking methods like slow cooking over wood fires, often concluding with local desserts like Bal Mithai or Singori.

Panaromic Himalayan Views

180 Degrees of Stillness: Kausani's Panoramic Majesty
From one edge of the sky to the other, Kausani stretches out a quiet, soul-stirring canvas.
Snow-capped peaks — Nanda Devi, Trishul, Panchachuli — stand like ancient guardians watching over the valley.
The air hums with stillness, broken only by the rustle of pine and the occasional distant cowbell.
Here, the mountains don’t just frame your view — they surround you, hold you, and make you still.
It’s not just a sight — it’s a feeling, a 180° embrace from nature herself.

Reconnect with Nature

Step away from the noise and return to where you truly belong — the heart of nature. Reconnect with the mountains, the stillness, and the rhythm of a life unhurried. Let the fresh air, open skies, and quiet trails remind you of everything that matters. Out here, it's just you and the Earth — no filters, no noise, just truth.

Breathtaking Starscapes

On clear nights in Kausani, the sky bursts into a galaxy of stars, so vivid it feels unreal. The Milky Way arcs overhead in all its glory, painting the darkness with cosmic wonder. With no city lights to blur the view, every star feels closer, every moment more magical. It’s the kind of night sky that makes you pause, breathe, and believe in something bigger
